Last week was a bit less eventful than the previous week. The weather turned a little cooler and we got quite a lot of yard work done. This was to have been the fall that I really worked at redoing my flower beds. The broken wrist has changed the plan some. C. L. is doing more of the work than I had initally planned. I hope to post some of the plans and photos on a web site fairly soon.

Along with the weather change there some wind-not much, just enough to dislodge two dead limbs from the trees along the driveway. One limb fell along side the van. It clipped the passenger-side mirror off. That was on Saturday evening, so we took the van in yesterday to get a new mirror put on (we had gone down on Monday to have parts ordered).

Ray and Carolyn are coming next week for a short visit.
